At the end of the day, the music fades, the lights turn out and everyone must go home.
We are all here now together.
Who will you connect with?
What is the story you will tell?
Sophie has been commissioned to work together with over 60s performance group ‘When Saturday Comes’ and artists Francesca Beard (performance poet) and Leticia Valverdes (photography) to develop and choreograph a piece inspired by the concept of ‘The Last Dance’. This piece will be performed at the Union Chapel as part of AllChange 30th birthday celebrations.
When Saturday comes is a project and group run by All Change and funded by Arts Council England and Islington Giving. It is a group of over 60s Islington residents that regularly meets and explores dance, music, photography, improvisation and poetry.
